The Eddie Ray Music Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Dripping Springs, Texas, created to open the world of music to children and adults with disabilities.
We believe music is more than something you listen to—it’s something you live. It’s connection. It’s confidence. It’s joy. And it’s a place where every person deserves to belong.
Through the Eddie Ray Music Foundation and our growing community of musicians, we bring together artists with and without disabilities to rehearse, perform, and create original music in an environment built on encouragement, friendship, and possibility.
Serving individuals and families across Central Texas, our programs remove barriers and open doors through:
- Weekly band rehearsals
- Private music lessons
- Live public performances
- Original songwriting and recording
- Community partnerships and events
What began as a small group of friends making music together has grown into a vibrant, visible force for inclusion—changing lives and showing our community what’s possible when everyone is given the chance to shine.
Why This Work Matters
For many children and adults with disabilities, opportunities for creative expression and meaningful social connection are limited, especially after school ends. Too often, talents go unseen, voices go unheard, and individuals lose access to the joy and purpose that creative participation brings. We exist to change that.
